Description:

The Rotax MAX Jetting App provides a useful tool for calculating the optimal carburetor main jet size required for Rotax kart engines in the MAX series, including the 125 Micro MAX evo, 125 Mini MAX evo, 125 Junior MAX evo, 125 Senior MAX evo, and 125 MAX DD2. This calculation is based on various ambient conditions such as temperature, altitude, air pressure, and humidity.

The app allows users to perform these calculations automatically by utilizing GPS data and an active internet connection, or manually by inputting the relevant ambient parameters. When opting for the automatic mode, users can simply click on "Use GPS position for weather data," choose the engine type from the scroll menu, and initiate the calculation by pressing the "Calculate" button.

For manual calculations, users need to manually enter all ambient parameters, select the engine type from the scroll menu, and initiate the calculation by pressing the "Calculate" button.

It's worth noting that a crucial step before using the calculated values is ensuring that your own barometer is calibrated to the current altitude since the calculation is based on relative air pressure (specifically air pressure at sea level). This information can often be obtained from online weather services by default.

The app offers additional customization options allowing users to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit by selecting °C/°F and toggle between meters and feet by pressing m/ft next to the entry field for values. To initiate a new calculation, users can easily reset the parameters by clicking on the "Reset" button.
